**********A MUST READ PIECE*********THE LEGACY OF HAJIYA AISHA; A TALE OF INTEGRITY AND DEDICATION.

Hajiya Aisha Muhammed Abdullahi was a dedicated employee of Farmers’ Agricultural Supply Company (FASCOM) a subsidiary of the Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture. She hails from Rigachikun, Rigachikun ward, of Igabi local Government area of Kaduna State. She had spent years working tirelessly to help farmers in the State to improve their livelihoods through various programs, initiatives and policies of Kaduna State Government at that time.

In 2004, during her time at FASCOM, Hajiya Aisha facilitated a loan for a farmer to purchase a generator worth 125,000 naira. The farmer was in need of the generator to improve his farming operations, and Hajiya Aisha saw the potential in helping him out. The loan was approved, and the generator was given to the farmer to use.
Shortly after the loan was given, FASCOM was dissolved, and Hajiya Aisha was transferred to the establishment department under the office of the Secretary to the Kaduna State Government. She continued to work diligently in her new role, but she never forgot about the loan she had facilitated for the farmer even after her retirement from Kaduna State civil service in 2017.

Over the years, Hajiya Aisha made several attempts to locate the farmer and have him repay the loan. She knew that the money belonged to the Kaduna State Government, and it was her responsibility to ensure that it was returned. Finally, in 2024, after 20 years years of persistence and dedication, Hajiya Aisha was able to track down the farmer and have him repay the full sum of 125,000 naira.
Hajiya Aisha in turn did the honorable thing as a responsible citizen by bringing the money to be paid into the Kaduna State Government's revenue account. The integrity and commitment she exhibited is truly commendable, and her actions should be encouraged and celebrated. Despite the challenges and changes she faced throughout her career, Hajiya Aisha remained steadfast in her dedication to serving the people of Kaduna state.

As she retired in 2017, Hajiya Aisha left behind a legacy of honesty, truthfulness, prudence and integrity that will be remembered for years to come. Her story is a reminder of the importance of always doing the right thing, even in the face of adversity. Hajiya Aisha Muhammed Abdullahi is a true example of a public servant who went above and beyond to serve her State with honour and dignity.
