Kachia LG Chairman Celebrates Sallah with Staff, Supports Residents, Distributes Millions, Cow
The Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, has extended Sallah greetings to Muslim faithful and residents of the area, reiterating his administration’s commitment to unity, compassion, and inclusive governance.
As part of activities marking the Eid al-Fitr celebration, the chairman approved the disbursement of financial support to Muslim faithful, local government staff, and key stakeholders across the council. The gesture, according to officials, is aimed at enabling beneficiaries to celebrate the festival with ease and dignity.
In addition, a cow was donated to local government staff in appreciation of their service and dedication.
The chairman, who was represented at the event by the Vice Chairman, Hussein Abdullahi, was joined by the Chief of Staff, Yahaya Maigida. They conveyed his goodwill message and reaffirmed his administration’s focus on staff welfare and grassroots development.
Speaking on behalf of the chairman, Abdullahi urged residents to embrace the values of Sallah, including sacrifice, generosity, and tolerance, while remaining law-abiding and supportive of efforts to maintain peace and development in the area.
The council reiterated its commitment to policies and programmes that enhance the well-being of residents and promote sustainable development across Kachia.
Residents were also wished a peaceful and joyous Sallah celebration.
