SPECIAL ADVISER ON VIGILANCE AND LOCAL SECURITY COORDINATION, YUSUF USMAN GARBA, PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO KADUNA COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO ENHANCED SECURITY COLLABORATION

The Special Adviser to the Kaduna State Governor on Vigilance and Local Security Coordination, Yusuf Usman Garba, has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, CP Muhammad Rabi'u, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and enhance security across the state.

The visit, which served as a familiarization engagement, was aimed at fostering stronger working relationships and identifying strategic areas of cooperation, particularly in local security coordination, intelligence sharing, and community-based security initiatives.

During the meeting, both officials underscored the importance of sustained inter-agency collaboration, effective coordination, and proactive security measures in addressing emerging security challenges and promoting lasting peace and stability throughout Kaduna State.

Yusuf Usman Garba reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State, to strengthening the state's security architecture through strategic investments, institutional support, and enhanced collaboration with security agencies.

He highlighted recent approvals by the Kaduna State Executive Council for the procurement of additional operational kits and equipment for security personnel, as well as the training of thousands of local security personnel to strengthen community policing, improve grassroots intelligence gathering, and enhance the state's capacity to respond effectively to security threats.

The Special Adviser commended the Kaduna State Police Command for its dedication and sacrifices in safeguarding lives and property, assuring the Commissioner of Police of the Kaduna State Government's unwavering support in advancing peace and security across the state.

The courtesy visit reflects the Kaduna State Government's continued commitment to building strong partnerships with security agencies in pursuit of a safer, more peaceful, and secure environment for all residents.
