State Youth Parliament Speakers Elect New Executives.

The Conference of State Youth Parliament Speakers of Nigeria has announced its newly elected executive officers, tasked with steering the organization toward greater collaboration and progress in youth leadership.

The newly elected executives include:

Rt. Hon. Eze Ekewuba – Chairman

Rt. Hon. Soniregun Maria Itunuoluwa – Deputy Chairman

Rt. Hon. Solomon Ademola Isaac – Public Relations Officer

Rt. Hon. Shuni David – General Secretary

Rt. Hon. Victor Kejuo – Financial Secretary


In a show of unity and confidence, all officers were elected unopposed, underscoring the trust members have in their capabilities to lead the Conference effectively.

Speaking on behalf of the Conference, Transition Chairman Rt. Hon. Osawemwenhio Uwagboe expressed optimism about the future under the new leadership. He encouraged members to offer their unwavering support to ensure the success of the executives in achieving the Conference’s objectives.

“This leadership team is well-positioned to take us to new heights in youth leadership development across the country. We are confident in their vision and pray for wisdom as they embark on this journey,” Uwagboe stated.

The election of these executives marks a new chapter for the Conference, reinforcing its commitment to empowering young leaders and advancing the cause of youth participation in governance across Nigeria.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
