Dr. Bulus Audu Counsellor on Land Matters To The Governor have Congratulated Dr. Manzo Maigari Chairman-Elect Kachia LGA, other elected chairmen and councillors in the Saturday local government elections in the state.
The Counsellor in a statement signed by him in Kaduna this morning, said the newly elected 23 Chairmen and 255 councillors deserved their victories at Saturday’s election.
He also congratulated all the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress on the successful outing at the polls, which he linked to the strides of the government, the support of every party member and stakeholder, and the sustained relationships that the party built with the Kaduna people.
The counsellor also commended the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission and the security agencies for the peaceful and hugely successful exercise.
“I’m confident that insights and experiences from the exercise will help to improve future elections in the state and across the country, especially since the leadership of other states’ electoral commissions observed the exercise across the state.
“I commend the good people of kaduna state especially Kachia for their large turnouts for the election, their support for the APC, and their decent conduct while it lasted.
“I thank all the political parties for their impressive participation and sportsmanship,” the Counsellor was quoted as saying.
While praying for God's guidance and protection for the Chairmen-Elect, the counsellor on land matters reaffirmed his deep-rooted commitment and support, stating that he looks forward to working together as robust partners to achieve the Kachia LG of their dream in the nearest future.
Dr. Bulus Audu also saluted and commended His Excellency, Governor Mallam Uba Sani of Kaduna State in strong terms, for fostering democracy by creating an enabling environment for all to participate in building a cherished, egalitarian community.
He wish Dr. Manzo and his newly elected councillors well and a successful tenure in office.
