A CALL ON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO ESTABLISH MORE ARMY AND AIRFORCE BARRACKS ACROSS THE 6 GEO-POLITICAL ZONES OF THE COUNTRY...By Maxwell Gabriel Morris



A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from Bayelsa-State has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to Establish more Military Barracks across the 6 GEO-POLITICAL Zones.

He made the call due to the constant and increase wave of kidnappings across the country. 

The roads to be considered include the ever busy Lokoja-Abuja Road, the Kaduna- Abuja Road, Abuja-Kano Road, Benin-Lagos Road and Lagos-Ibadan Road.

Others are the Kaduna-Katsina Road, Uyo-Calabar Road, the East/West Road as well as the Enugu-Anambra Road.

Speaking while briefing Newsmen at the NUJ press Centre in Yenagoa, Bayelsa-State, Nigeria. 

Mr. Maxwell who holds a United Nations Ambassador of Peace and the Northern Development Ambassador titles, however hailed President Bola Tinubu and the Military.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
