THE 10TH WEST AFRICAN UNION TAX INSTITUTE (WAUTI) ; INTERNATIONAL TAX CONFERENCE, COTONUO BENIN REPUBLIC, 2024.

kaduna State Internal Revenue Service's delegation participates at the 10th West African Union Tax Institute (WAUTI). The International tax conference which took place in Cotonuo Benin Republic, draws participants from all the West African countries, whereby ideas and experience are shared between participants in aspect of revenue administration, operations and generation. 

The KADIRS delegation to the International tax conference is under the leadership of the Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service Comrade Jerry Adams alongside the Executive Director Standard and Compliance Alh. Ali Garba Gora. 
The 10th international Tax Conference of the West African Union Tax Institute (WAUTI) is an annual event.This year, the Conference covers several technical areas from domestic revenue to digital economy, informal sector and all are reunited under the main theme of the Conference: ‘‘Rethinking Contemporary issues in Domestic Revenue Mobilisation in west Africa: Proposing Solutions ’’.
The West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI) was established by the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Ghana (CITG) in collaboration with revenue agencies in the West African Region. WAUTI creates a forum for technical and educational development, information sharing and enhancement of Tax Practice and Administration.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
