AWARD OF EXCELLENCE AND RECOGNITION!!!.

So on the 27th of December 2023 Mrs Mary Adams was celebrated and awarded for being the first individual to establish a private school (Alheri Nursery and Primary School Manchok) in Asholio/Moroa land.

Mary Adams, born on the 24th of October 1952 in Bondon to the esteemed family of Yusuf Yatai Sidi, embarked on an educational journey that laid the foundation for a life dedicated to learning and community service. Her educational milestones include attending Junior Primary School Bondon from 1957 to 1962 and Senior Primary School Kagoro from 1963 to 1966.
Having lived in Ilorin, Lagos, and presently residing in Kaduna, Mary Adams is a woman of diverse experiences and backgrounds.

In 1978, she ventured into business at Apapa Wharf in Lagos, and by 1980, she officially registered as a contractor with the Kaduna State Government. Over the years, she has successfully executed numerous contracts for the state in the early eighties to the mid-nineties, Mary Adams was also actively involved in supplying foodstuffs to government-owned secondary schools, many of which were boarding schools at that time. Additionally, in 1987, she became a major distributor of Ashaka cement.

Mary Adams is not only an astute businesswoman but also a politician and educationist. Driven by an unwavering thirst for knowledge, she returned to formal education after raising seven children in her marriage. Enrolling in Teachers College Kagoro from 1987 to 1988, she subsequently pursued her secondary education at Government Secondary School Manchok from 1988 to 1990, culminating in the attainment of her SSCE.
In her commitment to advancing education, Mary Adams founded Alheri Nursery and Primary School Manchok on the 29th of April 1991—an impactful milestone as the first private nursery and primary school in Sholio Land. The success stories of its graduates, now contributing globally, underscore the institution's significance.

Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, Mary Adams furthered her education at the Kaduna State Staff Development Centre in Kaduna from 2000 to 2004, obtaining a Diploma in Public Administration.

Beyond her academic endeavors, Mary Adams has been a dedicated public servant, serving in various capacities, including as Treasurer of Moro’a Development Association and Supervisory Councillor in Kaura Local Government Area. Her commitment to community development is further evidenced by numerous other noteworthy appointments.

Mary Adams stands as a testament to the transformative power of education and civic engagement, embodying a legacy of service and leadership in her community.
