KADIRS CSOs END OF YEAR ROUNDTABLE MEETING AND GENDER EQUALITY ADVOCACY!!!

In a bid to ensure inclusiveness in the administration of tax and revenue in Kaduna State and with the involvement of Civil Society organisations and non- State actors. The KADIRS Executive Chairman Comrade Jerry Adams called for a meeting with the civil society community under the auspices of Tax Justice Network and Good Governance Platform. 

The essence of the meeting is to appreciate the civil society community for their unwavering support and commitment towards the advocacy of tax education and promoting  voluntary tax compliance in Kaduna State and to engage the CSOs towards fulfillment of the basic parameters and requirements on Tax for SDGs Initiative for gender equality in public institutions.
However, the Executive Chairman unveils the Service's readiness towards mainstreaming gender equality, gender inclusiveness and gender responsiveness in the tax administration ecosystem through United Nations Development Programme - UNDP -Tax for SDGs Initiative.

The Revenue Boss appreciates the support, partnership and collaboration the Service is enjoying from the civil society community, especially in the area of Step down tax advocacy and sensitisation in major markets across the State, sponsorship of radio programs, stakeholders engagement meetings and roundtable discussions.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
