MALAM UBA SANI; ENCAPSULATING THE ESSENCE OF LEADERSHIP IN 100 DAYS IN OFFICE. By - Yusuf Usman.

A day of glorious life is worth an age without a name" It is on this glorious trajectory that I measured the days of the one of the most vibrant and people friendly Governor, His Excellency, Senator Malam Uba Sani of Kaduna State. Knowing fully well that running a complex State like kaduna is challenging work. It also can be rewarding and uplifting. 

Good management, characterized by sound leadership, judgment, and integrity, is required in virtually any endeavors. That is why Governor Uba Sani upon his inaugration hit the ground running, to beat all predictable timelines.

Interestingly, Senator Uba is not a novice in political fungibilities and its intricacies. So he went out working with empathy of the people of kaduna state in his mind, thus formulating policies and founding spectacular platforms for their inclusiveness as direct beneficiaries of his magnanimous policies, designed to reflect Urban Renewal policies of his predecessor Malam Nasiru Ahmad El,-rufa'I.

 However, he has his cherished policy solely designed by him that are viable, sustainable and egalitalitarian in conception and delivery. This piece is not a journey of antecednce of the Executive Governor but what he has or initiated for uplifments of the lives of people of kaduna irrespective of your political ideology.  

Remarkably, the governor who abhors indolence and lack of utilization of youth potentials went ahead in one of the boldest move to partner with Google to support 5000 women in tech and ICT skills acquisition. The focus of the partnership was founded on the premise on the need to train women, and girls in data science, algorithm, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurial application of digital technology.  

In response to Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which Housing is one of it, Malam Uba Sani shocked the posture of people by engaging and partnering with the Qatari Charity to Construct kaduna Economic City and provide Mass Housing . It is piquant in all its framework to know that it is the first project of its kind in Nigeria. 

As I've said, while past government had its own policies on town planning, Uba Sani's initiative went a step further to initiate his footprint in facilitating the Economic City In millennium city which was founded on the need to provide world class infrastructure, making kaduna a flag staff of example to other states. 

This economically sound initiative would afford modern and affordable accommodation, with effective Security and fecund Environment and viable atmosphere for business activities. Accordingly, the Governor in his remark said"it will help harness product value chain opportunities and improve economic growth". 

 And for the hydra headed monster of insecurity, the Executive Governor has initiated and activated kinetic and non kinetic strategies to deflate, neutralize and subdue the capacities of any identified criminal persons, their agents and flushing them from their remote hideouts. 

Lately, the gallant operatives, spurred by the governors desire to flush criminals, arrested over 53 criminals and killed over 6 in the trouble laden Southern Part of kaduna. With requisite support from the people, the governor who knows his ropes will take kaduna to next level. 

Kudos to Malam Uba Sani for marking everyday a 100 days in office.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
