SECURITY: KACHIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT KICKSTARTS SCREENING FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF 500 CIVILIAN JOINT TASK FORCE (CJTF).

As the saying goes, security is everyone's business, as such, all hands must be on deck to ensure a safe haven for all citizens. In it's quest to ensure that Kachia Local Government Area becomes a safe atmosphere for investments and doing business and, bringing an end to the incessant spate of kidnappings, attacks and killings in some parts of the area, the Executive Chairman, Kachaia Local Government Area, Hon. Aaron Bako, this Wednesday,  at Katari  Model Primary School, unveiled and inaugurated the Candidates from Katari, Bishini, Doka and Awon-B wards, who all had their screening.

The Committee Chairman Hon. Aaron Bako in his opening remarks said, those that passed the test and screening, will undergo a one month compulsory and intensive training  at the Nigeria Police College, Kaduna, which will commenced from the 6th of September, 2023. 

He however, assured them of their training allowance and other needs, which will be taking care of by the local government, under his stewardship. The local government Chair, also advised the applicants to be law abiding, shun acts of violence and be the watchdogs, while praying and waiting for further directives.

The good people of Kachia LGA, lauded the leadership of Hon. Bako, for this great move to combat challenges of insecurity confronting the some parts of the area.

At the screening and inauguration of the CJTF were; the Executive Chairman, Kachia LG Hon. Aaron Bako, who is the head, screening committee, the scribe, who is the KADVS Commandant of the LG, LG-Director of the SSS, the DPO, Katari Police Division as well as the DPO Rijana. Others were, Councillors representing Katari, Bishini, and Doka wards. District Heads of Gidan Tagwai, and acting District Head of Bishini respectively.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
