Breaking: National Ginger Farmers of Nigeria empowered farmers in Kachia LGA and others

Earlier Today, the Executive Chairman Kachia Local Government, Hon. Aaron Bako alongside his Vice Hon. Bunyamin Umar Sani, Speaker Kachia Legislative Council Hon. Yaji Yaji Galadima Clement, Supervisory Councilor on Agriculture Hon. Abel Anthony, Councillor Gumel Ward, traditional leaders, religions leaders and other relevant stakeholders
attended a joint empowerment programme and press briefing at the local government council chamber in Kachia.

The empowerment programme and press briefing is aimed at empowering Ginger farmers across kachia, Jaba and Kagarko local governments with financial assistance and other services. Presently, more than fifty Ginger farmers were empowered with 50,000 and 10, 000 for cooperative and individual farmers respectively.

The Local government Chairman after presenting the cheque to the beneficiaries, thank the organizers of the empowerment for their wonderful gesture as this will boast the famers. The Chairman also reaffirmed that his administration is committed to help farmers in Kachia LGA to grow, he assured them of the local government support and assistance.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH WING OF SOKAPU CONDEMN THE STATEMENT MADE BY BASHIR EL RUFAI.

Sokapu youth wing under the leadership of Barr. Jerry Mendous Maikano condemns in strong terms the statements made by Bashir El-Rufai on X suggesting that the killings in southern kaduna will linger if the residents continue to attack herdsmen. This is coming at a time when the region is battling on all angles to remain peaceful and law-abiding even with the persistent kidnapping and killing of its innocent citizens.  We call on security agencies to properly investigate the statement as such should not be treated with kind gloves. We as a matter of security concern demand an immediate apology and retraction of that statement. As failure to do so may impede the peace efforts being put in place by the federal and State government respectively. We equally call on all southern kaduna youths to remain peaceful and law-abiding and refrain from making statements of this nature.
